Ashish is a Partner in Prometheus Growth Partners (PGP) and oversees technology innovation and product development for PGP and its portfolio companies.

 

Ashish graduated from New York University (NYU) with a B.S. degree in Business (Finance concentration) and a B.A. degree in Computer Science. He has a passion for emerging technologies and has developed a keen eye for identifying opportunities to bridge technology and finance. Starting when he was in school, Ashish has spent the past 8 years gaining experience supporting businesses to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge technologies. His professional college experiences include building the technology and financial systems at securitization firms and investment funds.

 

During his studies at NYU, Ashish was recognized by the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute for his contributions to organizing the NYU Entrepreneurship Festival, the largest student run entrepreneurship festival in the country. In his senior year, he was further recognized by the Stern School of Business for encouraging business students to pursue professional opportunities in the technology industry. He accomplished this by starting the first venture capital focused organization on campus, the Strategic Venture Society, and creating mentorship programs and partnerships with venture capital firms Google Ventures, Union Square Ventures, and NEA.

 

Ashish started his post graduate career on Wall Street as an investment banking analyst in the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) group at Guggenheim Securities. During this time, Ashish advised technology and media companies through successful capital fundraisings, M&A acquisitions, and leveraged buyouts. He was in charge of developing the financial valuation models, management presentations, marketing materials, and conducting due diligence.

 

After Guggenheim, Ashish joined Stronghold, a payments company that was recently featured in the 2022 Forbes Fintech 50. He currently works directly with the founders to develop new software and disruptive products for their core payments and crypto businesses.
